February 22: The Sleeping Dictionary bad and other stories from prison

documentary made by inmates of the prison of San Michele di Alessandria

By Fabio Bosco and the Permanent Territorial Center of Alexandria. Images and video 'I look at you, look at me' by John Rizzo (editing elsewhere). The Little Dictionary collects some of the words 'bad' in the etymological sense of the term, namely 'captive' but the title is meant ironically also the common perception that has guest houses in jail, guilty as 'bad', ie carriers of a stigma that all too superficial society assigns to those who are guilty of a different behavior. The words 'bad' are opposed to good ones, in a game of images and sound that not only signify the fragility and arbitrariness of memories, poetically draws a rehabilitation themselves.
